Throughout Australia there are a number of art centres that are Aboriginal owned
and operated, some being based in the local town/city, whilst others are based
in Aboriginal Community and/or on Aboriginal Land. Some will be opened to the
general public at certain times, whilst other may require that you get a permit.
Indigenous and Aboriginal art can also be viewed at many of the major and
regional museums.
As this is an ongoing project, we will be adding art centres and museums over
time. If you know of one that should be included or you manage one of the art
centres or museums, you can apply for a free listings, just follow the link at
the bottom of this page.
